Anticipation et Denouement
This split 7" is a virtual two-part essay on vinyl, a treatise on the rise and fall of love, lust, and other phenomenae of hormonal impulse. The A side, Leigh Marble's "Blankets for Two", finds us in the slow grind of two ships passing in the night, just a bit too close for safety. On the flipside, Erin McKeown's "Daisy and Prudence" shows us a stack of Polaroids from an affair whose ache still rings in her voice. These two songs of sedition and seduction will breathe heavy down your neck and then rock your grief in cool arms of relief.
